Where can I find Airlink buses?

Airlink buses depart from Waverley Bridge in the City Centre and from directly outside Domestic Arrivals at Edinburgh Airport. Check the maps below to see exactly where our two main stops are. You can also get on the Airlink at other stops in the City Centre and the West of Edinburgh - see the Airlink timetable and route map to find your nearest stop.

You can purchase Airlink single and return tickets at the Airlink kiosk outside Edinburgh Airport Domestic Arrivals, online and directly from Airlink drivers.

  • Local connections from Clermiston, Drylaw, Muirhouse and Granton to Ocean Terminal on 200
  • Direct journeys from North Edinburgh to Gogarburn on 200
  • Local connections from Gyle, Edinburgh Park, Sighthill, Slateford, Fountainbridge, South Bridge, Holyrood, Easter Road and Foot of Leith Walk on 300
  • Onward connections to Leith and North East Edinburgh available at Ocean Terminal

Where can I find Skylink buses?

Skylink 200 departs from Bus Stop B, Skylink 300 departs from Bus Stop F at Edinburgh Airport and at all stops on their respective routes between Edinburgh Airport and Ocean Terminal.

Notes on tickets

The above tickets can be used on either Airlink or Skylink*.

Ridacards are valid on all Airlink & Skylink journeys.

Network Day Tickets - our go anywhere, anytime ticket - are valid on all Airlink & Skylink journeys.

Scottish National Concession (including Young Person Concession) cards are valid on all Skylink journeys and on Airlink journeys except night-time journeys (between 00:15 & 03:45 from the City Centre, or between 00:40 & 04:15 from the Airport).

Return Tickets are open-ended – the return journey can be taken when needed (including on NightBus service N22 between Airport and Edinburgh City Centre).

On Skylink, please have your correct fare ready as our Skylink drivers do not have access to cash and cannot give change. You can buy tickets which can be used on either Airlink or Skylink in advance with our m-ticket app. 

Single tickets are available from the driver on Airlink and Skylink for journeys between the Airport/Airport Hotel and Maybury - £2.50 adult, £1.50 child.

*Purchased a ticket voucher online or from an agent?  These can only be used on our Airlink service. 

City fares on Airlink & Skylink

Single fares are available from the driver on Airlink for any journeys between Edinburgh City Centre and Maybury.

For Skylink journeys between Ocean Terminal and Eastfield Road (at A8) on 200 or between Ocean Terminal and Ingliston Park & Ride on 300, standard Lothian Buses fares and products apply.
