Lothian Travelshop, Jarnac Court, Dalkeith

Closing 1 September 2017

Our Dalkeith Travelshop will be closing to the public on Friday 1 September 2017.

Nigel Serafini, Lothian’s Commercial Director, said:

We recognise that this may have an impact on the small number of customers who continue to use the Travelshop. Unfortunately, we cannot justify its continued operation. However, we remain committed to providing an excellent service for customers in Midlothian, as can be seen by the service improvements we have made in recent years. We encourage customers to use our online and telephone services to access information and tickets, as well as the local PayPoints for topping up Ridacards.

The Travelshop has seen a significant decline in footfall over the last few years as more customers choose to get their travel information online.

Customers who need to top up their Ridacards will still be able to do this at any of the 250 PayPoint outlets in our operating area, including four in the centre of Dalkeith (RS McColl, Dalkeith Metro, Costcutter, Dalkeith Newsagents) and information on all our services is available here on our website, by calling 0131 555 6363 or on our app.

You can also still visit our Travelshops at Waverley Bridge, Hanover Street and Haymarket.

Find your nearest PayPoint agent.
