Our tips for travel this April

April is here and we're back in school holiday mode with Easter Holidays, Easter Eggs and a long weekend to look forward to in the middle of the month.

Here’s our tips for what's on in Edinburgh.

1. The History of Video Games.  1 April

Entertain your kids this weekend with a visit to The History of Video Games at Ocean Terminal.
There will be classic original machines to play including Space Invaders, Pac Man and Star Wars.  They will love it as much as you!

2. Edinburgh International Science Festival  1 – 16 April

With over 200 events taking place across two weeks, there's always something to see, do and learn at the Edinburgh International Science Festival.

3.  Edinburgh Bus Tours

Summer season starts at Edinburgh Bus Tours on 8 April. Now the weather has taken a turn for the better hop on board Scotland's second top paid for attraction to see the sights and learn about this history of your city.  Family tickets are available from just £36.

4. Edinburgh Comic Con   15 & 16 April

Returning for a fourth year, Edinburgh’s Comic Con is back at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, bigger and better than ever! Get dressed up, see the memorabilia and get inolved in the gaming area.  Kids under 10 go free!

5.  Beltane Fire Festival   30 April

On 30 April, celebrate the first signs of summer with the Beltane Fire Society on Carlton Hill with an amazing show with drums, fire and physical theatre, on a scale not seen anywhere else in the world.
